As the Recruitment & Engagement Advisor at the Hub, I have the following responsibilities:

Building relationships with local businesses for recruitment.

Organising our jobs fairs, including encouraging companies and jobseekers to attend.

Meeting with clients to build positive relationships and foster recruitment via the Hub.

Understanding companies, their industries, job roles, and recruitment practices.

Updating our social media platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.

Supporting hubbers with skills identification, CV preparation, and communication with employers and training providers.

Conducting one-on-one and group sessions for hubbers, including job hubs, CV writing, LinkedIn building, digital skills, interview skills, and confidence-building.

Maintaining candidate and client databases.

My Story
Hannah has come from Surrey Chambers of Commerce working on the Local Skills Improvement Plan, bringing industry insights to the team. With a marketing background, she has successfully expanded the Hubs social media footprint, amplifying its reach and engagement. Eager to share her digital skills, Hannah looks forward to teaching colleagues and local business what they can do too.
Additionally, Hannah's Fridays are marked by a touch of companionship, as she brings her miniature long-haired dachshund to work. This furry addition to the office environment adds a sense of warmth, joy, and noise creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
